Poppy and Alex are the kind of friends who make couples look underprepared. One wants to roam the world like it is on a permanent vacation. The other likes staying home with a good book and a plan for the day, the week, and probably the next year.
For a decade they’ve had their one-week summer tradition. That’s the agreement. The distance is real, the timing is sacred, and somehow it never turns into drama. But then you start to notice the obvious question creeping in: are they just “best friends,” or are they accidentally practicing for being the perfect pair?
This one is basically a romance-shaped what-if, told through trips that feel less like grand adventures and more like honest check-ins. Cute, awkward in the right places, and suspiciously easy to root for.

„People We Meet on Vacation“ macht aus dieser Freundschaftskiste ein warmes, leicht freches Gedankenexperiment: Was passiert, wenn ihr perfekter Rhythmus irgendwann zum Beinahe-Deal wird. Keine großen Explosionen. Eher kleine Entscheidungen, die sich spät rächen und früh als Gefühl durchrutschen.
